European Go Congress 2012

The European Go Congress will bring together up to 1000 go players from over 30 nations, especially Europe and East Aisa, for two weeks to play many exciting tournaments in Go, the oldest board game of the world. Professional go players from Japan, China and Korea will come to the Congress and give go comments, play simultaneous games and give insight into their culture and their life as professional go players. The Go Congress is a festival for go players of all ages and playing strengths, amateurs and professionals, with children tournaments, single, pair, and team tournaments, with lectures, exhibitions, and extensive leisure activities. The European top go players will play the European championship at the Go Congress.
